On reflection we find that Chris' fiane has no discernible interest in discussing the state of affairs of our mutual life. She looks gorgeous and enjoys it. She tells people "She didn't even take her coat off [last night] it was just wrapped around her body like this lovely lady", like if she wasn't in her wedding suite we wouldn't care about how she took herself from one party to an even deeper one in just two and a half hours. I was glad. She's a perfect look.

Chris also looks really healthy to us, although perhaps with good food and lots of sleep on his night of love – I'm a bad mother who worries about too much sugar! As for his "loveable little lady/big sis mum" (ahem, our mausassador), Lauren appears delighted there, and looks as lovely under the lights at this little intimate gala in the heart.
